Council u-turn on school dinner blog ban
Argyle and Bute Council have withdrawn the ban on nine-year-old blogger Martha Payne taking photos of her school dinners for her NeverSeconds blog.
The ban came after the council said press coverage of the blog had led catering staff to fear for their jobs, but council leader Roddy McCuish told the The World at One that he had instructed senior officials to lift the ban immediately.
"There is no place for censorship," in the council, he told the programme, adding that the school dinner ladies had the "100% backing of the council".
