Edinburgh ignites for Olympic relay
The Olympic flame has been used to light a cauldron in the shadows of Edinburgh castle, at the end of day 26 of the torch relay.
Earlier in the day torchbearers carried the flame to a number of iconic Scottish locations, including St Andrews' legendary golf course and the beach where scenes from the film Chariots of Fire were filmed.
