The Queen has hosted a Jubilee garden party for 3,500 guests at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

All of those invited were being recognised for their contributions to local communities.

The BBC's Mark Worthington attended the event and spoke to some of those involved.

Chef Connor Carway revealed that 10,000 macaroons had been prepared for the celebration.

John O'Sullivan, from St Johns Housing Trust, said it was "a great honour" to have been invited.
