Olympic torch's journey up Snowdon
The Olympic torch has been carried to the top of Mount Snowdon, the highest point in England and Wales, by mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington.
The flame travelled in a miner's lamp on the Snowdon Mountain Railway before the 77-year-old climber carried the torch to the summit.
Sir Chris said it "meant an awful lot" to carry the torch up the mountain where he his climbing career began.
