Olympic torch relay: Tour of route through Wales
The Olympic torch relay is spending five days touring Wales from Monmouth, Cardiff and the valleys of the south, to Snowdon, Caernarfon and Conwy in the north.
For BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show, Professor Philip Stott examines the history and beauty of the route.
On Tuesday 29 May, the Jeremy Vine show will come from Colwyn Bay.
In the coming weeks, the show will take in Scone Palace, the crowning site of the kings of Scots, in Perthshire on 12 June and on 3 July it will visit the market town of Melton Mowbray.
