Help

Two dissident republicans have been jailed for the murder of the police officer Stephen Carroll in County Armagh.

Brendan McConville was ordered to serve a minimum of 25 years and John Paul Wootton 14 years.

Constable Carroll's widow said she was disgusted by the sentences and likened them to a rap over the knuckles.

Mark Simpson reports.
