Pressure over government's News Corp links

Help

The government is facing fresh pressure to reveal how close its ministers were to News International after the Leveson Inquiry heard from Rebekah Brooks on Friday.

The former News International executive told the Inquiry how David Cameron would sign off texts to her with "LOL", which he thought meant "lots of love".

Meanwhile Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt is reported to have emailed News Corporation asking for advice on how to handle the phone hacking scandal.

The government says the claims are "completely inaccurate".

Ben Geoghegan reports.
