GB synchronised swimming team prepares for London Olympics
It has been described as a combination of dance, gymnastics, and even a 400 metre race.
However, some still question whether synchronised swimming is a 'real sport'.
Together with rhythmic gymnastics, it is the only Olympic programme exclusive to women.
The BBC's Nicholas Niksadat takes a look at where synchronised swimming began, and goes behind-the-scenes at the London Aquatics Centre to talk to Team GB ahead of the 2012 Olympic Games.
