Giant Olympic rings made up of 20,000 flowers have been unveiled at London's Kew Gardens to mark exactly 100 days to the opening ceremony of London 2012.

Earlier this week 260 members of the Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots and Welsh Guards formed the number 100 in London's Horse Guards Parade in recognition of the day.

Former Olympian Jonathan Edwards said there were lots of festivities lined up to mark the countdown to the Games.
