Boat Race: Oxford & Cambridge interrupted by swimmer

There have been chaotic scenes at the annual boat race between Oxford and Cambridge Universities on the River Thames in London.

The race was stopped when a man swam into its path.

When it was re-started, the teams clashed oars and Oxford broke a blade, paving the way for a Cambridge victory.
