A tour of the Mary Rose's artefacts
She is one of the most famous ships in the world, brought to the surface in a complex salvage operation.
The Mary Rose, flagship to Henry VIII's navy, sank with the loss of 700 men, during a battle near Portsmouth in 1545.
Since she was raised in 1982, the Mary Rose has drawn thousands to the city's historic dockyard, but now a £35m project has begun which will reveal even more about the ship and her crew.
It is a tale of patient detective work as the conservation team restore weapons and personal items found on the sea bed.
Collections specialist Simon Ware showed Robert Hall some of the 14,000 items which will go on display when the new museum opens next year.
