How to paint a plane
British Airways has repainted the first of nine A319s with a dove design to mark the London 2012 Olympics.
The design is the result of a contest, run by the company with the aim of promoting British talent in the run-up to the Games.
Brighton-based designer Pascal Anson says he wanted to turn something ordinary into something extraordinary, while playing with people's perceptions of flying objects.
BA's Operations Manager for External Appearance David Barnes explains the process of creating the new livery.
Produced by Dougal Shaw.
