Stamp duty holiday ends for first-time buyers

Help

The government is ending the stamp duty holiday for first-time buyers.

It had applied to any property worth between £125,000 and £250,000.

Ministers say it has not helped people get on the property ladder as had been hoped.

The BBC's Joe Lynam reports.
