Duchess of Cambridge joins St Patrick's parade
The Duchess of Cambridge has marked St Patrick's Day by presenting shamrock to members of the 1st Battalion Irish Guards at their traditional ceremony in Aldershot, Hampshire.
The event goes back to the first regimental St Patrick's Day in 1901.
The ceremony is the duchess's first solo military engagement and will start an ongoing connection to the regiment.
