Temporary fix? Pop-up shops on the rise

Help

As the recession hits high street brands like Peacocks and La Senza, the number of empty shops is getting higher.

Rents, business rates and material costs are all on the increase, and in the current economic climate it has meant that thousands of shops have closed across the UK's town centres in the past few years.

The question is - what can be done with all this empty space?

Sian Lloyd reports.
