Lord Prescott on his 'third son'

Help

Lord Prescott, the former deputy prime minister, has spoken of how his wife Pauline's first child has become their third son.

In 2001 Pauline was reunited with the son she had put up for adoption when she was a teenager, after he was traced by a tabloid newspaper.

Lord Prescott said it had been a hard time for Pauline but that now she felt complete with Paul back in her life.

Lord Prescott was speaking to Kirsty Young on Radio 4's Desert Island Discs on Sunday 19 Feb at 11:15 GMT, repeated Friday 24 Feb at 09:00 GMT. Listen online or browse the extensive Desert Island Discs archive.
