Shetland celebrates Viking heritage with fire festival
Thousands of people have gathered in Lerwick in Shetland to celebrate the island's Viking heritage with a dramatic fire festival.
The Up Helly Aa festivities culminated in the burning of a replica Viking ship, which takes months to build.
As the BBC's Lorna Gordon explains, people come from all over the world to witness the "spectacular" event.
