Volunteer lock-keepers needed to help new charity

Help

Thirteen million people use our canals and rivers every year, and now they are being asked to put something back, by becoming volunteer lock-keepers.

British Waterways is behind the campaign, as it heads towards becoming a new charity, the Canal & River Trust in April.

It is calling on local communities to get involved.

Louise Hubball reports.
