Scouts welcome Duchess of Cambridge as a volunteer
A cub scout has told the BBC that he is "excited" that the Duchess of Cambridge is to become a volunteer in the Scout Association.
Ten-year-old Patrick Simpson and scout leader Heather Baker spoke to the BBC about how they thought Kate would help their organisation.
Kate, who was a Brownie as a child, will volunteer with younger members of the Scout Association primarily at groups based around her home but also in other areas when opportunities arise.
The duchess has also become the patron of four charities.
