Hapless Asda alcohol thief's getaway car breakdown

A Manchester woman has been given an eight month suspended jail sentence after admitting stealing hundreds of pounds worth of alcohol.

Rose Devlin, 59, was caught on CCTV stealing the alcohol from an Asda supermarket. But her attempts to get away with her load were thwarted when her car ran out of petrol in the car park of the Oldham store.
