Family justice review rules out equal access to child

Childcare decisions in family courts should be made within six months, an official review has said.

David Norgrove, who has been given the job of reviewing the way family law works in England and Wales, has ruled out giving both parents equal access to a child, a key demand of fathers' rights campaigners.

Speaking to the BBC he said, "The most important thing here is to focus on the welfare of the children, not the rights of the parents."
