Should foreign doctors face an induction programme?
The General Medical Council says some overseas doctors employed by the NHS have had "little or no preparation" for working in the UK.
It says a basic induction programme about ethical and professional standards should be introduced for all doctors.
Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire got the reaction of Dr Jayaprakash Gosalakkal from the UK Association for International Doctors, Cheshire GP Dr Surinder Kumar and NHS Wrightington, Wigan and Lea's medical director Dr Umesh Prabhu.
