5,000 police patrol Notting Hill Carnival

More than 5,000 Metropolitan Police officers are on the streets of west London for the Notting Hill carnival.

Police numbers have been increased to try to prevent trouble, in the wake of the riots that took place in early August.

As Graham Satchell reports, over one million people are expected to visit the two-day event.
