Police in Seychelles investigate shark attack

A British man has been killed in a shark attack while on his honeymoon in the Seychelles.

Ian Martin Redmond, who was 30 and from Lancashire, was snorkelling off the island of Praslin.

Authorities have closed local beaches and called in experts from South Africa to help them track the shark.

Police spokesman Jean Toussaint said Mr Redman was assisted to the beach after suffering bites to his hip and right arm. He died shortly afterwards.
