London riots: Hackney police and shops attacked

Clashes and looting has erupted in Hackney, east London, following rioting in several areas of the city over the weekend.

The clashes apparently began after a stop and search incident.

Community activist Sharon Grant advised people to "stay off the streets" to avoid an escalation of violence.
