Heather Mills: Mirror journalist hacked my phone

Help

More phone-hacking allegations have emerged, this time involving Mirror Group Newspapers and Heather Mills, the former wife of Sir Paul McCartney.

She has claimed in a BBC interview that a senior journalist at the company admitted hacking into her phone. The journalist whom Ms Mills said contacted her is not CNN presenter Piers Morgan, who was the editor of the Daily Mirror at the time.

Trinity Mirror responded to the allegation by saying: "Our position is clear. All our journalists work within the criminal law and the PCC [Press Complaints Commission] code of conduct."

The BBC's Jon Brain reports.
