Piers Morgan 'strenuously denies' hacking involvement

Help

The television presenter Piers Morgan has denied any involvement in phone hacking during his time as editor of British tabloid papers, The News of the World and the Daily Mirror.

Critics have quoted past remarks, and an interview with the BBC's Desert Island Discs programme which they claim mean he may have been aware of the practice.

Mr Morgan strenuously denies he has ever hacked a phone or knowingly published a story obtained by hacking.

Keith Doyle reports.
