Father of man killed in crash calls for sleep apnea tests

A man whose son was killed by a lorry driver who fell asleep at the wheel is calling on professional drivers to be properly screened for sleep disorders.

Colin Wrighton was acquitted of death by dangerous driving after tests revealed he was suffering from obstructive sleep apnoea.

He spoke to Nic Tweddell, the man whose son Toby was killed in the crash in 2006, on Radio 5 live Drive.
