Red kites attracted to residential areas


The once endangered red kite is now thriving in the UK thanks to conservation programmes however people are being asked to avoid attracting the birds of prey to residential areas with food.

It follows reports in Oxfordshire of the birds of prey swooping down to snatch food from people's hands and perching on prams
