BBC newsreader collapses on London marathon run
The BBC newsreader, Sophie Raworth, has completed the London marathon, despite collapsing two miles before the finishing line.
She was participating in the race to raise money for cancer, after the death of several close friends from the disease.
She said the warm weather probably contributed to her being "out cold" for around an hour in a St John Ambulance. But despite this, she got back on the course and completed the run in a little over six hours.
