Scout Association launches sex education programme

The Scout Association is launching its first national sex education programme.

It will provide educational material to scout leaders so they can answer questions from scouts aged 14 and older about relationships and sexual health.

Scout Leader Matt Mills came up with the idea while Scout Erin Billington has already taken part in some sex education sessions and said they gave extra information to what she had already learned at school.
