Cameron 'delighted' at Libya rescue by UK military


Prime Minister David Cameron has paid tribute to the UK military personnel involved in rescue missions to evacuate civilians from protest-hit Libya.

On Sunday, three RAF Hercules aircraft rescued 150 people - including 20 Britons - from the Libyan desert.

HMS Cumberland has left Benghazi for Malta carrying about 200 civilians, including 50 Britons.
