Prince Philip voted 'Consort of the Year'
The Duke of Edinburgh has been voted "Consort of the Year" by The Oldie magazine.
Prince Philip, who is approaching 90, was unable to attend the ceremony but in a letter joked that "bits are beginning to drop off" his "ancient frame."
It comes at the same time as an exhibition on his life prepares to open at Windsor Castle.
Nicholas Witchell reports.
