Former gang member weighs in on new police measures

From today, Police in England and Wales will have new measures to try to tackle the problem of gang violence without having to go through the criminal courts.

The injunctions, nicknamed "Gangbo's", can ban someone from going to a rival gang's territory, meeting up with fellow gang members, or even wearing gang colours.

However not everyone is convinced they will work. Former gang member Darrell James told Breakfast News that he does not believe the measures go far enough to stop gang related crime.
