Several cities in the UK have woken up to heavy snow and ice. Robert Hopping sent us this picture of the snowy Swansea Bay in Wales.

John Stafford found this snow sculpture in Ballywalter, Co Down, Northern Ireland.
Anne Shears took this picture on Plymouth Hoe on her way to work.
Mike Kinsey in Devon says: "Princeton woke to a paltry half inch up here, very boring! However, it has showered heavily since then and we seem to be getting a heavy shower, then a gorgeous sunny bit."

Maria Blackmore sent this picture from Blackwood in Gwent, Wales, where she says it was snowing "really quite hard" during the morning.
Michael Rudge in Llanystumdwy, Gwynedd, Wales: "This snowfall is the heaviest snow we have seen in the village for the past 15 years."
