Prime Minister David Cameron is launching a £2m consultation on how best to measure the well-being of Britain's citizens. But how do you measure a country's happiness?

Simon Jack spoke to Jill Matheson from the Office of National Statistics, but first people in Manchester told us their thoughts on measuring happiness.
