Police in 24-hour Twitter project
One of the UK's biggest police forces has begun using the social networking site Twitter to publicise every 999 incident it deals with over the next 24 hours.
Greater Manchester Police say it's so the public and politicians can see the complex job officers carry out on a daily basis.
