Benefit claims reassessed in Burnley and Aberdeen


In the UK 2.1 million people claim incapacity benefit, which costs the taxpayer £12.5bn a year.

The Government believes 23% of those people are actually capable of work.

Jo from Burnley claims benefit because she has back and joint problems. She has recently won a High Court battle to ensure she continues to receive the payments after a medical assessment deemed her fit for work.
