British aid worker may have been killed by grenade
The prime minister has said that the kidnapped British aid worker, Linda Norgrove, may have been accidentally killed by US forces during a rescue mission in Afghanistan.
David Cameron said the rescue was being reviewed by the commander of Nato forces in Afghanistan, General David Petraeus.
Linda Norgrove, who was 36 and from the Isle of Lewis, died during the rescue attempt by American forces, which had British approval.
