Speed of defence review 'could put operations at risk'

The government review of the UK's defence and security needs is being rushed through without sufficient consultation with industry and the public, MPs have warned.

Speaking to the BBC, James Arbuthnot, chair of the Commons defence committee, said he feared the review was being "driven by money rather that the assessment of threats".
