Injured marine takes part in Forrest Gump marathon

Help

Setting out to run 3,500 miles across the United States would be a daunting task for anyone but for Royal Marine Mark Ormrod, a triple amputee, it is an even bigger challenge.

Mark - who was badly injured in a landmine explosion in Afghanistan - will be joining four British and American servicemen in the charity run. The team will cover up to 23 miles a day, while Mark has a target of a minimum of one mile on his prosthetic legs.

Caroline Wyatt reports.
