In six weeks time the Chancellor will announce the results of his Spending Review and where the biggest cuts for a generation will fall.
The coalition says it wants your views, so the BBC's Nick Robinson is travelling the country, along the A1, to hear the thoughts of the public.
On Wednesday he asked people in Letchworth whether welfare should be cut more, so that public services could be cut less.
