Is the government right to make cuts this fast and deep?

The Government's Spending Review will be announced in just over six weeks time, when the Chancellor George Osborne decides where his budget cuts should fall.

As ministers weigh up their options, they say they want views from the public.

His first stop was on the A1 is Gateshead where he asked: "Is the government right to make cuts this fast and deep?".
