Grey seals project off Cornwall coast gives hope

Conservationists are hoping a project on the Cornish coastline will help increase the numbers of grey seals by providing them with sanctuary.

The seals are more endangered than the African elephant, and more than half the global population are found in British coastal waters.

The survey off St Georges Island has revealed larger than expected numbers, gathering in gender-specific groups.

Alex Bushill reports.
