Amazon walker Ed Stafford dreams of flapjacks

Help

Ed Stafford has spent almost two-and-a-half years walking through the Amazon basin.

The 34-year-old former Army captain from Leicestershire is believed to be the first person to complete the 4,000-mile trek from source to sea.

He charted his journey along the way through a blog and video posts.

Among the problems Ed and his walking companion faced was a shortage of food, as this video shows.
