'Lawn Mans' lawn mower race cut back to four-hours
Hampshire's annual lawn mower race has been cut from 12 to four hours as teams pulled out because of the economic downturn.
Only half as many teams applied to take part in the event, forcing organisers to scale down the event.
The first 12-hour race took place in 1978 and included the Formula 1 legend Sir Stirling Moss.
