Grayling imposes Job centre ban for adult job adverts
A ban on using Job centres to advertise for strippers and lap dancers has been announced.
Adult industry job adverts have been allowed in job centres since 2003, when lingerie chain Ann Summers won a legal fight to advertise for shop staff. The new ban only applies to so-called performance jobs, and not to adult industry shop or bar staff.
Work and Pensions Minsiter Chris Grayling said the new ban applies to jobs involving "direct sexual stimulation".
