How does the London cycle-hire scheme work?
The UK gets its first large scale cycle-hire scheme on Friday.
Tourists, residents and commuters can all use the scheme - although for the first month they will have to register in advance.
Around 10,000 people have already done that, and the city is hoping it will encourage more people onto two wheels.
