BBC poll considers web freedoms and surveillance

People in countries traditionally considered "free" feel under more online surveillance, according to a BBC Survey.

The Freedom 2014 poll asked people how inhibited they felt in the internet age.

The western democracies fared worse than Russia and China in the perception of people's online freedom.
