Show us your shorts: Your micro videos

9 September 2013 Last updated at 15:17 BST

Last week BBC Newsnight looked at the rise of micro videos, bite-sized social media videos. We asked you to send in short videos to show us how creative you could be. The short films could be up to 30 seconds long and on any subject.

Thank you to everyone who took part. We really enjoyed watching all of your efforts. Here are some of our favourites from the more than 100 videos that we received.

Contributors (in the order that they appear): Made For Each Other from Charlotte Huckle; Escape from Jack Sheard; It Happened on Lundy from Michael Jennings; Lego animation from James Netherway's seven-year-old son; Microadventure from Alastair Humphreys; Wotsits from Bethany Turner; Exterminate from Keith Upton; Bubbles From Aaron Dey.
